2003 Grand Prix
 

The Grand Prix 2003 is a series of eight qualifying races and a final. The objective is to encourage higher intensity orienteering thereby refining key skills such as map reading on the run, route choice, and "getting in the flow". As a fun competition, it is also meant to encourage faster travel through the terrain.

A handicap factor (based on age and gender) is used to adjust each competitor's race time. The best five results will count in the standings, and at the end of the season the top 10 "veteran" orienteers will compete along with the top 3 "rookie" orienteers in the Grand Prix Final.

Gold, Silver, and Bronze achievement levels are calculated for each race and indicated in the Results below
